SCOUTING AT HOME WITH GSLAC
Scouting can take place anywhere – even in the comfort of your home! Visit the Scouting at Home page on the GSLAC website to find a resource hub for parents and leaders to help support Scouting at home, with stay-at-home educational activities for any Scout rank, tips for continuing to work on advancements and kid-friendly content that connects Scouting with their daily lives. EAGLE RANK EXTENSION OPPORTUNITY DUE TO COVID-19
A Life Scout who foresees that, due to the “stay at home” order issued by the State of Missouri and Illinois, they may not have time to complete the Eagle Scout rank  requirements before age 18 may apply for a time extension. The National BSA is allowing the Greater St. Louis Area Council to approve limited time extensions. All applications should be submitted prior to the Scout’s 18th birthday to eagle@stlbsa.org. If you have any questions, please contact your district advancement chair. Request must be submitted by September 30, 2020 and can be a maximum of three months. SCOUTBOOK, ONLINE ADVANCEMENT TOOL AND MORE, AVAILABLE FOR UNITS
Scoutbook is BSA’s online unit management tool that helps Scouts, parents and leaders track advancement and milestone achievements along the Scouting trail. (Scoutbook replaces Internet Advancement.) Leaders and parents can log in to Scoutbook.com using My.Scouting credentials. Den leaders also have access to the Den Leader Experience. Learn more about the Den Leader Experience HERE

MERIT BADGE COUNSELOR DIRECTORY
Scoutmasters can access the online Merit Badge Counselor Directory HERE. If a scout is interested in obtaining a merit badge counselor’s name they should work through their Scoutmaster or Troop Advancement Chair.

EAGLE PROJECTS AND APPLICATIONS
