Shiloh Pack 40 Cub Scouts and the St. Clair District have teamed this year for the St. Clair District Pinewood Derby. We’ve planned a fun-filled day of continuous racing excitement, and all we need to make it all happen is a great big bunch of fun-loving scouts ready to send their supercharged pinewood derby race cars careening down the race track. Race day is a fun-filled day of fast paced racing. It’s a day of edge-of-your-seat excitement for Cub Scouts and parents alike.

Any Scout is allowed to race, you don’t have to place in your Pack!

Winners from each session will be invited to the noon Grand Championship Race.

So please enjoy yourselves and spend the day together enjoying the high-energy fun that is the District Pinewood Derby. Win or lose, you will be glad you attended the race.

Light concessions will be available at the race.

The following pages are designed to answer any questions that you may have concerning the Derby. We ask that you share the information contained in the pages that follow with the Cub Scouts’ parents in your pack. We would like to see every scout in the district attend this event. It is our hope that once you and your Scouts understand how the Derby is set-up and run, that every Scout will be eager and excited about being part of the competition.
