  • Join us for a night of fun, fellowship and good food at the Shawnee District Dinner. All youth and adults in Scouting are welcome to attend. <FLYER>
  • The Shawnee District Winter Camporee will be January 17-19, 2020 at Whippoorwill Lake. Scouts BSA and Venturing youth will be working on the Fish & Wildlife Merit Badge. Register here
  • Are you wanting to learn more about Scouting? The 2020 University of Scouting will be held at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on Saturday, January 18, 2020. Registration starts at 7:30am. Opening Ceremony: 8:45am. Classes Begin: 9:10am. Register here
  • The Silver Beaver Award is the highest recognition a Boy Scout council can bestow on an adult volunteer leader. The award is presented to those volunteers who have provided noteworthy service that impacts the lives of youth and who have made outstanding contributions to the Scouting program.   • The Camp Card sale can help your unit generate money to deliver the Scouting program! Scouts sell coupon cards for $5 and keep $2.50 to help defray the costs of registration, summer camp, uniforms, or equipment! Sale starts February 3 and ends April 10. This program is risk free! Turn in any unsold cards by April 3 with no penalty. There is no upfront cost. You can pick up your card order at the February Roundtable meeting. Sign up for the sale here
  • Add some fun to your Blue & Gold banquets with our FREE Cub Scout camp placemats! These colorful pieces provide families with dates and locations for all of our summer camp offerings. Order your placemats here
  • Save the date for Camp Expo, Saturday March 7, from noon-3pm at Beaumont Scout Reservation. Come see what camp is all about by participating in Cub Scout camp activities such as shooting sports, STEM experiments, crafts, and games. You will also get the chance to sit in on a 15-minute Cub Camping presentation to learn all about your Cub Camping options this year. Learn more and register here
