Join us for a special weekend workshop version of the new Fishing Camp School training being taught at National BSA Fish Camp Schools.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn the BSA Certified Angling Instructor recognition.

The course is taught using the EDGE Method, in an effort to provide the graduate the tools necessary to design, develop, and provide leadership to BSA fishing programs offered to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturers at a unit, district and council level.

In addition, Certified Angling Instructors are considered to be great candidates for service as merit badge counselors for Fishing, Fly Fishing, as well as Fish and Wildlife Management.

Fees

Registration is $85 and includes Friday evening cracker barrel, breakfast and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday, and a Graduation Feast on Saturday Night.

Also includes: camper fees, course materials, CAI patch and certificate, and merit badge skill center patch.

According to a recent Boy’s Life survey, fishing is the 4th most popular activity among scouts with 61% participating.
