Who: Scouts BSA and parents. Due to safety precautions spots are extremely limited and may fill up quickly!
Where: Center for American Archeology in Kampsville, IL
When: Field Day Sessions on October 3rd and 10th (choose one). Virtual Component done on your own time!
What: This program has been rescheduled from our Spring dates and is now a hybrid virtual and in-person event. This is no longer a overnight experience and additional safety precautions are being taken to ensure Scouts and staff safety (see registration page for more details). Earn your Archeology Merit Badge at a real field school! Scouts will enjoy a choice of two Field Days packed with fun programming and educational experiences. This one-of-a-kind event includes participating in real, guided archeological research. Scouts will get to assist the Center for American Archeology on a site visit, participating in field work and digs that contribute to archeological research and knowledge.
What’s included: All program materials, curriculum, & instructors
Masks are required at all times during this program
Cost: $35 per BSA Scout, $15 per adult

Adult STEM Training Webinar: Counselor Mentor Training
Free event!! Join us Thursday, August 27th, 2020, 7:00 – 9:00 pm Central Standard Time via Zoom. Participants will learn about the BSA STEM Nova program, and why this award program is important to Scouts. The steps on becoming a NOVA Counselor and Supernova mentor will be provided along with key strategies on guiding Scouts through the process of earning these awards.
You will learn:
- How Scouts earn the Nova / Supernova awards
- Nova and Supernova Awards Approval Process
- Training/Registration requirements for Mentors and Counselors
- Responsibility of Mentors and Counselors
- Tips and tricks on being a successful Counselor and/or Mentor

Join our friends at The Magic House, MADE for Kids for a fun and creative day of Adventures! MADE for Kids is The Magic House’s new hands-on makerspace located in St. Louis City between the Central West End and the Loop.
Who: Lions, Tigers, and parents.
Where: The Magic House, MADE for Kids- 5127 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108
When: Saturday April 18. 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
What: Guided activities to fulfill specific Lion and Tiger Adventure requirements and access to MADE for Kids for the rest of the day!
Lions Adventure Advancement:
During your time at The Magic House, MADE for Kids, Lions will be able to complete the Gizmos and Gadgets adventure, as well as fulfill parts of the Build it Up, Knock it Down adventure.
Tigers Adventure Advancement:
During your time at The Magic House, MADE for Kids, Tigers will be able to complete the Tiger-iffic adventure, as well as fulfill parts of the Stories in Shapes adventure.
Cost: $15.00 per Scout – Includes 1 Free Adult
