Learning for Life is designed to assist schools in their preparation of young people to successfully handle the demands of today’s world. This program uses age-appropriate, grade-specific lesson plans to help young people develop social and life skills, self-confidence, motivation and positive personal values in participating members. It prepares young people to make important responsible, ethical decisions that will help them achieve their full potential in the future.
Elementary Program
Learning for Life’s Elementary Program consists of 60+ lesson plans designed for students in Kindergarten through the 6th grade. These lesson plans enhance and support the core curriculum while also reinforcing social, ethical, and academic skills.
Middle School Program
Learning for Life’s Middle School Program is designed for students in 7th and 8th grade. The 40+ lesson plans provided in this program begin a school to career emphasis while also incorporating character education.
High School Program
Learning for Life’s High School Program is a career-oriented curriculum designed for students in grades 9-12. These lesson plans focus on teaching practical skills needed for students to acquire jobs, transition to college life, and budget their time and their money.
Adventure Days
Adventure Days is a yearly opportunity for students enrolled in the Learning for Life program to participate in a variety of outdoor activities at the Beaumont Scout Reservation in High Ridge, MO. During this event, we host a variety of experiences for students including STEM activities, mazes, archery, and more.
