Do you wanna have fun earning a merit badge while hanging with a bunch of dogs?

Join us at the Humane Society of Missouri as we sniff through all the requirements needed to earn your Dog Care merit badge! Unleash your creativity and have a howling good time meeting our shelter dogs all while learning facts about first aid, tips on being a terrific pet parent, tricks on training, and even how-to’s concerning rescuing dogs! What better way to learn about various breeds than to stroll through our male and female wings, getting up close and personal with the many pooches here who are waiting to meet their new families!?

Earning a merit badge has never been this much fun and we’re sure you’ll give it “two-paws up”! Scoop up some fun stuff to take home too!

PLEASE NOTE: There are nine requirements for this badge. Six of these requirements (#1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 9) will be completed in the workshop that day.
Due to the nature of requirements #4, #5 and #8, you must complete these on your own PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP and bring the documentation with you. We will sign off on your badge and give you a certificate of completion that day.

Closed-toed, rubber-soled shoes are required to protect your feet and give better traction when walking through the animal wings.
