The Rock Climbing and Rappelling Merit Badge class is a 3-4 hour interactive class taught by certified merit badge counselors. Scouts are responsible for meeting the requirements as outlined in the appropriate merit badge booklet. Participants must provide their Merit Badge application for the counselor to sign. The class includes necessary equipment rental and additional climbing. The minimum participation to hold a class is 2 and no more than 10 participants may be in a course at a time. Advanced reservations are required.

• Includes equipment rental (shoes are not included, athletic shoes are suitable) and additional climbing.

• All participants must complete a waiver. Climbers under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
