Hayrides

Come out to Nagel Base and step back in time by riding a horse-drawn hayride. This is a great outdoor activity for Scouts of all ages. Wagons hold a maximum of 20 people and hayrides are $75 per wagon.

Hayrides are offered from March 1 through May 30 and mid-August (after the close of summer camp) through Nov. 30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

PICNIC AREA 

Nagel Base has two picnic areas for your unit to use free of charge. This is a great place to meet before a hayride or trail ride. The picnic areas are on a first-come, first-served basis, but they are big enough to handle more than one unit.

If your unit prefers to be inside, you can reserve the Nagel Recreation Hall. The Rec Hall has kitchen facilities, a fireplace, tables and chairs, and a heater for those cool fall nights. The Nagel Rec Hall can be rented for a fee of $100 per day/night.
