2018 District Pinewood Derby a Success!

Our 2018 Black Gold District Pinewood Derby took place on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Times Square Mall in Mount Vernon. Cub Scouts from Packs 103, 127, 185, 260, 262, and 291 participated in this event.

The Pinewood Derby was organized by Cory Breeze, Pack 103 with assistance from Lloyd Reinkensmeier, Charles Milt, Rex Barbee and numerous other volunteers. Special Thanks to Tina Ford, from Pack 446 who took some pictures to chronicle the event.

Trophies were awarded to the First, Second & Third Place Finishers as well a Medallion for our Turtle Award Winner. The winning contestant hailed from Pack 185 in Wayne City. Congratulations to the Times Square Mall in Mt. Vernon for hosting us, all the Cub Scouts who participated as well as our dedicated volunteers.
