5/15 Message to Scouts BSA & Venturing leaders and parents:
As a follow-up to the recent announcement regarding all summer and day camps being cancelled, we would like to share the plan for processing your unit and/or youth’s registration and fees. Your unit’s reservation has automatically been moved to 2021 for the same week, camp, and campsite as your unit had reserved for this year. Please note that “week” refers to the number week of the summer (e.g. 1st, 2nd, etc.), and not necessarily the same exact dates. The process will begin on May 26th, when you will receive an email inviting you to complete an online form regarding how you would like your 2020 camp registration and fees processed. The form will include options to:
1. Confirm applying the fees to your existing 2021 camp reservation
2. Credit your fees to Outdoor Family Experience 2020
3. Donate your fees to support camps and remote Scouting programs (Thank You!!)
4. Receive a full refund
5. A combination of the above options
To complete that form, please have your registration number(s) available. Once you have submitted the form, a member of our council staff will process your registration and fees based on your selections. If needed, you may be contacted to confirm your requests.
Open registration for 2021 summer camp will open on July 1, 2020 at 9:00 AM. Please note this is the new date for open registration and takes the place of the previously advertised date of September 14, 2020. Units that opt to not keep their 2021 reservation for the same week, camp, and campsite may select a new week and camp at this time.
