ScoutFest 2020
September 20, 2019
ScoutFest 2020 is a once-a-decade, regional Scouting camporee organized by the Greater St Louis Area Council. Expected attendance is 20,000 people across one weekend in Forest Park, the largest Scouting gathering in the country in 2020.
ScoutFest 2020 is open to the whole family, including Cub Scouts, to camp overnight in St Louis’ iconic park. Exciting program and activities are currently being developed by volunteers and youth, and will include live performances and fireworks on Art Hill, STEM and robotics, climbing walls, water sports, competitions and much more!
The St Louis Area Council will have a soft launch of ScoutFest 2020 occurring Sept 1 that will provide relevant information for districts, unit leaders and families to begin long term planning for the event. It is equally important for units to register with estimated attendance data so appropriate planning can continue. It is important to note that much of the planning for this event will rely on the soft launch data to help plan for a multitude of items such as; district camping space, infrastructure items like water and waste management; number, size and distribution of event program activities will also require this data.
Again, this is not a commitment to hard numbers. It is, however, critical that each unit provide estimated attendee numbers in order for proper planning and logistics to be developed.
Please be sure to have someone from your unit log on to:

asap to register your estimated attendee numbers and to learn more information about this exciting event.
