Adult Required
What Makes A Trained Leader?
Adult leaders in units are considered trained, and eligible to wear the official Trained emblem, once they have completed Youth Protection Training and the training courses outlined in the links on the left.
Youth Protection Training is a joining requirement for all registered adults and must be retaken every two years.
Adults registered as the Unit Leader, Chartered Organization Representative, or Committee Chairman can review and update training for their unit members on https://my.scouting.org/. Please click on the Training Manager Orientation link below to access a tutorial for the Training Manager function.
